Sketch Cards: Trading Card Sized Originals

Ever since the Summer of 2012, my focus with my artwork has been sketch cards. I had been drawing them on my own without really realizing what they were. I was simply doing the occasional sketch on a blank artist trading card, but had no idea there were sketch cards in sports and non-sports trading card packs! Quite simply put, sketch cards are original artwork that is standard trading card sized, 2.5x3.5". The part that surprised me is that it wasn't just artists and art lovers who like them, but trading card collectors as well!

My first official sketch card set was Topps UFC Bloodlines, but after that I've been contacted for other sets including Leaf Best of Hockey and Topps Museum Collection Baseball. I'm currently working on sketch cards for a couple other companies as well, doing non-sports sets this time.

I do almost all of my sketch cards these days using Copic Markers.
